Eclipse 2024

Little-Guy got to experience his first eclipse this week! Although we weren’t in the direct path, we still enjoyed a little walk to see its effect.

All was quiet except for birds chirping. We passed a number of neighbors standing in small groups at the base of the staircases, patiently waiting and occasionally looking up through their eclipse glasses.

The trees we walked under cast their crescent-moon pattern on the ground as the peak of the eclipse passed over us. Thankfully there was a small breeze, and the little moons swayed and sparkled on the ground! Little-Guy enjoyed watching it, entranced :)
